Dr. Melissa Cano Sanderson provides compassionate, comprehensive dental care with a focus on preventive and restorative dentistry, patient education, and the connection between nutrition and oral health. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from UT Health San Antonio and a bachelor's degree in Nutrition, with a minor in Spanish, from UT Health Austin. Born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas and raised between Brownsville, Texas and Matamoros, she brings a bicultural perspective, is fluent in English and Spanish, and is committed to culturally sensitive care for diverse and underserved communities.
